Hybrid Capture Source

CyeWeb supports multi-hybrid capture sources, allowing you to connect IP cameras(over 50 brands and hundreds cameras), analogue PCI/PCI-E capture cards, hardware compression card, USB-webcam and network media stream, etc.
It also supports capturing multiple streams from one capture device, such as IP camera or hardware compression card. One use-case of this feature is to capture one high (e.g. 2MP/30FPS) and one low (e.g. CIF/10FPS) resolution stream from the same camera; low-quality videos can be stored locally for playback in minimum disk space, at the same time high resolution videos can be monitored clearly in real-time; this use-case allows you to store more cameras data in limited disk space. |

Network Functions

CyeWeb features complete networking functions, satisfying your requirements in most situations:
Video Server: Streams live video/audio over TCP. This feature makes CyeWeb being a streaming server from which you can remotely use client software such as CMS, another CyeWeb or Microsoft IE to monitor the videos in real-time.
Windows Media Broadcast: Webcasts Windows Media video/audio over RTSP, HTTP or TCP. You can use Windows Media Player or Windows Mobile based PDAs/smart phones to view the webcast.
Build-in HTTP Server: Allows you or your client to connect to CyeWeb with Microsoft IE.
Net Service: Forward and subscribe events over IP. This is the core component for distributed processing solution.
CMS Client: A rich client to connect to unlimited number of CyeWeb.

Timeline Playback

CyeWeb features a powerful and easy to use timeline playback system, which allows you to access recorded videos with a 24-hour timeline and date control, and zoom the time down to second with a slider bar or mouse-wheel. All videos/audios from different channels can be played synchronously in negative and positive speed.

Tagging System

CyeWeb uses a natural and efficient way to record alarm events and manage videos: tagging. Not only it automatically inserts tags into events and saves them into database, but tags can also be manually added to videos at any position. With the tags as keywords, you can search events or videos as the way you do on Web.

Transact(PoS) Monitoring System

CyeWeb integrates a transact(PoS) monitoring system for loss prevention to capture activity at the till of supermarket, ATM, etc. You can define rules to alarm on abnormal transactions such as high amount of refund or money withdrawal. Also you can search back transact-activities and playback the videos with just a few keywords.
