CyeWeb, previously named SurveillizCam, is the newest generation intelligent video surveillance software from NovoSun Technology. It is designed primarily for video surveillance. The following are highlights of its features
Hybrid source support
One of the most pratical features of CyeWeb is its support to hybrid sources, allowing you to connect legacy PCI capture cards, USB-webcam, as well as the newest IP cameras and hardware compression board.

The native support to "dual compression" in hardware compression card is one of the key features that worth to be highlighed. It allows you to hardware compress data from the same channel into 2 compressed streams, one high-quality and one low data rate; compression is done in hardware chips, requiring no CPU resource. With this feature, you can now stored high quality data locally, at the same time brodcast small-size data over Internet.
You can also use CyeWeb to connect remote Windows Media Stream or simulate connection with local media files.

Multi-binding, rich formats
CyeWeb allows you to bind the same video source to multiple channels. This feature gives you great flexibility to build solutions for your applications.

One pratical example is to bind a capture card video input to 2 channels, lets say channel 1 and channel 2. Channel 1 is configured to compress and store video data in the best quality but can only be accessed by internal persons in your organization, while channel 2 pipelines with a mask filter to remove sensitive areas and then webcasts to the public.

Other than multi-binding, CyeWeb supports very rich audio and video formats, with video resolution up to 1920x1080, from rate from 5fps to 60 fps, and pixel formats from YV12 to RGB32.

Strong Networking
CyeWeb features very strong networking functions, satisfying your requirements in most situations.

Video Sever: Streams live video/audio over TCP protocol. You can remotely view it with another CyeWeb or Microsoft IE.
Windows Media Broadcast: Webcasts Windows Media video/audio over RTSP, HTTP or TCP. You or your client can use a Windows Media Player or Windows Mobile based PDA/smart phone to view the webcast.
Build-in HTTP Server: Allows you or your client to connect to your CyeWeb with a Microsoft IE.
Video content analysis
Intelligent video content analysis for public environment is a hot topic in video surveillance industry. The ultimate goal is to build a machine to detect and recognize what happens or going to happen in the scene of interest. Once the machine notices something that requires attention, it alarms the operators or acts accordingly.
Although the corresponding technologies today are still far from this goal, there is already something useful. CyeWeb incorporates these technologies and offers you feature such as object counting, illegal moving direction detection, illegal parking, suspicious object detection, and loitering person detection, etc.

Powerful tagging system
CyeWeb uses a very natural and efficient way to record alarm events and manage videos : tagging. Not only it automatically inserts tags into events and saves them into database, but tags can also be manually added into videos at any position. With the tags as keywords, you search events or videos as the way you do on Web.

Simple but powerful scheduler
Unlike some other software that features a complex but limited capability scheduler, CyeWeb offers you a very simple but powerful scheduler, in which you just need to schedule 2 items. With the combinations of the 2 items, you can schedule almost everything.


Extensibility
CyeWeb is designed based on an extensible architecture. Features such as video/audio capture source, video content analysis, data filter, external device, event handler, or application modules (HTTP server, video server, etc) can be extended or replaced. With our future release of CyeWeb's extension development package, you will be able to build your own components for CyeWeb.
